The Question Concerning Technology (installation composed of: paintings, poetry & constructions); Creole Gallery, Lansing, MI; 11 September 2005 through 30 October 2005. One-woman show, with over 50 pieces on exhibit.

    Excerpts from Jacqueline WayneGuite’s review
    29 September 2005

At a first glance it may appear that an explosion of art has occurred in the attic of Creole Gallery.

But just by slowing down and taking the time to study the artwork and the accompanying texts around the gallery space, the powerful message of Katherine Fishburn's work will reveal itself. . .

Fishburn's exhibit studies the effect technology has on our lives and explores subjects including the fork, the shoe, the typewriter, a lady's boudoir and the positives and negatives of German philosopher Martin Heidegger's work.
